It is easy to eat till you are stuffed on Thanksgiving without some will and determination, then the dessert comes and the will and determination goes out the door. A simple eating strategy that I began doing on Thanksgiving years ago is to load up more on the protein and vegetables, and go light on the heavy yummy carbs. What are those delicious carbs….. stuffing, sweet potatoes loaded with sugar, or regular potatoes, as well as most the sugary desserts. Of course everything in moderation right…. but who eats in moderation on Thanksgiving:) After eating go out for a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the outdoors, or get a quick workout in to help you get all that food moving in the right direction!!
